PTI Stamp-a-faire crop!

Yesterday I had such a fun time at the PTI Stamp-a-faire crop with 16 PTI-addicted friends. I am a newbie to PTI but I now have a full on love affair with it thanks to the great inspiration in that room.

Here are a few of the cards I made with my new papers, inks and dies!

I had so much fun with my table-mates Dee, Lee Anne, Alex, Patricia, Avril, MaryAnn and JoAnn. Thanks for such a special day ladies!!

Growing Closer

I found a bit of time to craft last night and I cracked open my very first set of PTI stamps! I have joined the PTI world and can't wait to play even more tomorrow at a special PTI crop with my favourite scrappy gals. I used the Happy Hexagons set and stamped tons a hexies on Lily Bee papers and then cut them out. I misted my background with Tattered Angels and Clearsnap. The alpha stickers are Queen and Co. I cut the clouds with Memory Box and MFT dies.

This is my hubby and our special friend Charlotte in Australia last summer. Char and her lovely daughter Niamh are here in Canada for a visit right now, so it is extra special to be reliving these memories from last year.

Here are a couple of close ups of all those tiny hexies I cut and pieced.

I also decided to link up with a few challenges running right now.

Moxie Fab World- Hooked on Hexagons
C'est Magnifique Kits- Word Challenge "Grow"

Have a great weekend!

All kinds of thanks

I have been a bad blogger lately! It has just been so nice outside plus too much work on my plate! But I thought I'd post a thank you card I made using Echo Park and We R papers. The dies are MFT. I love my new one for the fence!

I thought I would also link up to Simon Says Stamp and Show "No Rules" challenge this week too!

Happy Monday!

Currarong

I had some time this weekend to scrap and made this layout of Currarong, a few hours south of Sydney, Australia. It was a gorgeous deserted beach with cliffs and rocky spots to explore. I misted my background with Tattered Angels and Clearsnap first. The papers are Lily Bee. Love that 6x6 pad!  I also used my new Memory Box flower die and made a few more of those fun chevrons. I edited these photos so now they aren't so washed out since it was so sunny yesterday!

I was inspired by the sketch this month at C'est Magnifique. And I decided to link up with Tammy's beach theme at LRW.

Happy Monday!

I just can't thank you enough

Here is another thank you card I made for my hubby for the end of school. I used K and Co. and Echo Park papers to make these chevrons. They are fiddly but I love how they turned out. The stamp is MFT. Here's the link to the chevron tutorial. I just adapted it for smaller chevrons.

I also thought I would link up with the Shopping Our Stash triple threat challenge this week!

Thanks for peeking!

Life is Sweet

I just love these super close up photos of this little frog who landed in our backyard. I used gesso with my brick Crafters Workshop stencil and added some Adirondack mist and distress ink as well. The papers are DCWV, Prima acrylic flower, Queen and Co. pearls, chipboard by Studio G, alpha stickers by MM, crochet doilie by my mom and cork from my stash.

I thought I would link up with Simon Says Stamp and Show blog for their stencil/mist challenge his week.

Thanks for stopping by and keep cool!

All Kinds of Thanks

My hubby needed some end of school thank you cards. I made this one using some K&Co., Echo Park and MME papers, and Twinery twine.

Thanks for looking!
